Exciting additions to Xbox Game Pass for the second half of May!
The Game Pass service will close out May with a thrilling lineup of additions that will delight all subscribers. This time around, eight games will be added, ranging from highly anticipated titles like FIFA 23 to lesser-known gems like Ghostlore and Chicory: A Colorful Tale, as well as new releases such as Planet of Lana. The long-awaited FIFA 23 arrives on Game Pass a couple of months before Electronic Arts officially presents EA Sports FC, the first installment in their football game series that won’t bear the FIFA name. Players diving into FIFA 23 will find a title that showcases HyperMotion2 technology, allowing for the inclusion of thousands of motion-captured animations and introducing new mechanics like the “zapatazo,” a shot that relies on skill and finding the right balance between risk and reward. And for those who enjoy betting, FIFA Ultimate Team will always be there to sell card packs.
On May 18th, Game Pass will welcome two very different action RPGs. Eastern Exorcist is a 2D side-scrolling game set in an oriental fantasy world, while Ghostlore features an “eastpunk” aesthetic and draws inspiration from classics like Diablo II. For those seeking something fresh, May 23rd marks the debut of Planet of Lana, a cinematic adventure with puzzles. And if you’re in the mood for a game that feels like a coloring book, don’t miss out on Chicory: A Colorful Tale, arriving on May 30th.
